三重県伊勢市生まれ。
広告や雑誌、ウェディングなど様々な撮影を行う傍ら、放浪スタイルの旅に出て自身の見識を深めるとともに、そこで得たものを写真作品として発表する事をライフワークとしている。
世界50カ国以上を訪れ、街や村は150を超える。
